Wow, what a weekend

I guess we can say the Midwest had some kind of weekend.  Many of us where very fortunate that the tornado’s missed us and maybe some of our loved ones.  I was very thankful to be able to hear from my good friends that live in Woodward Oklahoma.  My good friend and his family were given three minutes to get to shelter before the tornado came through and devastated their neighborhood. . My friends were safe and not a lot of damage was done to there house but the neighbors across the street weren’t so lucky.  Four homes on their block lost everything.
I try never to take it lightly when ever I hear those sirens go off, no matter where I’m at….

  1. I'm glad to hear that your friend and his family are okay. A storm such as a tornado can be one of the scaries moments of anyones life. While I was away at Ft Riley we where under a tornado warning. It was an intense moment because soldiers from the Wichita area where getting calls from their families saying that on was on the ground and they where taken shelter. For us it was dark and you couldn't see a thing and for me not being able to see it coming is frighten. Thank God the tornado went aroung the Fort and be all where safe but I do say a pray for those who wasn't so forunate.
